Wilt I

Canary Test is pleased to present Wilt: a group exhibition of twelve floral artists creating unique arrangements inspired by Los Angeles and scored by sound duo Xen Model. In Wilt, Florists embrace the temporal nature of their practice. Select arrangements unapologetically age over viewing hours while others incorporate dried flora or use openly displayed tools to withstand the gallery’s environment. These fleeting works are sonically recorded by Xen Model whose sound compositions respond to the cycling installations to create an auditory map of the exhibition. Arrangements will be presented over three receptions. Each week, four florists will exhibit an arrangement in Canary Test alongside an original sound composition performed live on opening night by Xen Model.
